Basic Facial Harmonisation Course

With this course, the Dental Surgeon will be equipped to confidently plan and perform Facial Harmonisation treatments for adult patients seeking self-esteem, aiming to prevent signs of premature aging and soften expression lines caused by health-related factors.

Course Details

  1. The focus is to expand healthcare professionals’ knowledge, enhancing their performance in the principles of diagnosis, indication, and execution of facial harmonisation treatments;
  2. To equip students to perform treatments related to facial harmonisation within the principles of visagism and balance of facial thirds;
  3. To enable students to perform compensatory treatments for soft tissues, improving facial asymmetries;
  4. To guide students on the indications and limitations of Facial Harmonisation;
  5. To prepare students to handle complications associated with procedures;
  6. To train students to perform preventive treatments in Facial Harmonisation.

DAY 1

  • Facial Anatomy and Physiology of Ageing;
  • Visagism;
  • Botulinum Toxin;
  • Hyaluronic Acid Fillers.

DAY 2

  • Clinical Practice with Model Patients – Botulinum Toxin;
  • Clinical Practice with Model Patients – Hyaluronic Acid Fillers.

At the end of the training, participants are entitled to a Training Certificate in accordance with Regulatory Decree No. 35/2002, as well as certification recognised and issued by SIGO, a governmental entity, as stipulated in Decree-Law No. 14/2017, of 26 January.

Our training, and consequently our certificates, also comply with the requirements of the Labour Code, Law No. 93/2019, of 4 September, which establishes the obligation for continuous training in companies, stipulating a minimum duration of 40 hours annually per worker.

Requirements

  • Hold a higher education qualification or be enrolled in Dental Medicine;
  • Prior and mandatory completion of the Admission Form.
  • Submission of the following documents:
  1. Curriculum Vitae;
  2. Copy of Qualification Certificate;
  3. Copy of Citizen Card/Identity Card and NIF;
  4. Copy of OMD card or, if foreign, local Dental Order card.
