Saliva PRO Experience Course

Dr. Debora Heller is a scientist dentist and Assistant Professor I of Dentistry at Cruzeiro do Sul University in Brazil and an Assistant Professor at the UT Health San Antonio Dental School, USA.

She holds a PhD in Dentistry (PhD Oral Biology) from Boston University, USA, an MBA from USP, a master’s degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, and a dental degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. She leads the Saliva Lab, a salivary research laboratory in São Paulo, Brazil, and mentors undergraduate and graduate students.

Currently, she is the elected President of the Saliva Research Group of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR), a founding member and the first president of the Latin American Saliva Research Group LAR/IADR, and a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Dental Research.

In 2023, Dr. Debora founded Saliva PRO, an international community of dentists who use saliva for more efficient diagnosis in their clinical practice.
