Orthodontics Course for Adult Patients

With this course, the Dental Surgeon will be empowered to confidently plan and execute orthodontic treatments for adult patients with dental absences, periodontal issues, and skeletal discrepancies, using fixed appliances and aligners.

Course Details

  • Expand knowledge in the diagnosis, indication, and execution of orthodontic treatments in adults.
  • Equip for treatments associated with orthognathic surgery and compensatory orthodontic treatments.
  • Guide on pre-prosthetic treatments and the use of aligners in adult patients.
  • Limitations of orthodontic treatment in adults.
  • Orthodontic-surgical and compensatory treatment for skeletal discrepancies.
  • Treatment for periodontal and pre-prosthetic patients.
  • Use of orthodontic aligners in adults.

At the end of the training, participants are entitled to a Training Certificate in accordance with Regulatory Decree No. 35/2002, as well as certification recognised and issued by SIGO, a governmental entity, as stipulated in Decree-Law No. 14/2017, of 26 January.

Our training, and consequently our certificates, also comply with the requirements of the Labour Code, Law No. 93/2019, of 4 September, which establishes the obligation for continuous training in companies, stipulating a minimum duration of 40 hours annually per worker.
